Majorda Beach

Facing west towards stunning sunsets, Majorda Beach is located in southern Goa. A short stretch of sand perhaps 200 metres in length, it runs continuously into Gonsua and Betalbatim beaches to the south and Causalim Beach to the north, for a total of 25 kilometres.

Much of the way it is lined by resorts and other places to stay. The beach side is also not short of food shacks, selling light Goan curries, western favourites, and a significant number of Russian dishes.

Its rich golden sands are quietest to the south, away from the water sports businesses, though still close enough to be able to rent an umbrella and sun lounger for the day.
