French Leave Beach (Club Med Beach)
French Leave Beach, located on the Atlantic coast of the island of Eleuthera. It is a beautiful quiet and unspoiled stretch of pink-tinged, white sand. With clear turquoise water and gentle waves, it’s the perfect spot for a peaceful beach day. Unlike busier beaches on the island, French Leave offers a more secluded experience, perfect for those looking to relax or take a quiet swim.
The beach is pretty easy to access but feels remote, adding to its appeal. The beach is protected from the waves by offshore reefs and the snorkelling can be good. There are few facilities nearby, so visitors often bring their own drinks and snacks.
The old name came from the Club Med Resort that was here until being destroyed by hurricane Floyd in 1999. The current name comes from the French Leave Resort which was built in its place.
Whether you’re stopping by for a quick visit or spending the day, French Leave Beach is a beautiful place to soak up the natural beauty of Eleuthera.
