The Greek island of Rhodes has long been one of the most popular tourist destinations this end of the Mediterranean. With crystal clear turquoise water, ancient ruins and lush pine forests clinging to the craggy limestone hills the attractions are obvious. But of course it is the beaches in Rhodes that most visitors come for, and there are plenty to choose from.

The best beaches in Rhodes tend to be on the more sheltered east coast of this Dodecanese island. Despite being only around 40 Km from end to end there is a great variety of beaches suitable for everything from taking it easy on a sun lounger to snorkelling or kite-surfing. Whatever you're looking for there is a beautiful beach in Rhodes for everyone.
