Playa del Pozo
Playa de Pozo is a quiet and unspoiled beach on the southern coast of Lanzarote. Not far from the resort town of Playa Blanca, it feels a world away. Known for its golden sand, turquoise waters, and volcanic surroundings, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the island’s busier tourist hotspots.
Part of the Los Ajaches Natural Park, Playa de Pozo is accessible via a dirt track or a short walk from nearby beaches like Papagayo beach. The calm, clear waters make it great for swimming and snorkelling, while its secluded nature attracts those looking for tranquillity.
There are no facilities, so visitors should bring their own food, water, and sun protection. Like many beaches in Lanzarote, nudism is common but not mandatory.
