Punn Sanden is a beautiful, yet remote beach on Norway’s Lofoten Islands. The beach is situated on the island of Værøy, one of the most south-westerly in the group.
The beach has everything you would expect from the Lofoten Islands; near-white sand, clear blue sea and tower mountains that rise up from the beach.
For those wanting to visit Punn Sanden it is something of a trek. Firstly you will need to get to Værøy island, which is a 90 minute ferry from another of the Lofoten islands. From here you will be able to hike the rugged landscape to get a view of the beach, however to reach the beach itself you will need a boat.
